Have you wanted to support solar energy, but can’t install a system on your own? We invite you to be part of a community effort to fund a solar array at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ (UCC) in Cary.
Twenty solar panels which should generate approximately 8,000 kWh/year of electricity for at least 25 years.
Total System Cost
$20,756, of which $5,000 is already pledged by Good Shepherd UCC. If we exceed our funding target, up to 130 additional panels will be installed. The roof is large! If we do not meet our target, either a smaller array will be installed, or carbon offsets will be purchased by the congregation.
