Sunday Worship – August 14 @ 10:30am
We welcome you to join us in worship this Sunday — in person or online — at 10:30am. Please click here for our bulletins and order of worship. We will also have a few printed copies on hand for those of you who are worshiping in the church sanctuary.
We have Sunday School available for children and youth from Infants – 7th grade. Children join parents for the beginning of service and leave after the children’s word. For infants – Pre K age children, we have child care class available where children can play and do activities with our two hired childcare workers. Our other classes are for children grade Kindergarten – 3rd grade, and for children in grades 4 – 7. If a child has a sibling in a class they would feel more comfortable with, they are welcome to attend with them.
We will be celebrating communion as part of our worship service this week. For those worshiping online, please have nearby the elements for the service – juice, wine, or whatever you have on hand along with bread or crackers.
Please forward this information to your friends, and neighbors and invite them to join us.

Notes
In light of the CDC’s updated indicators for monitoring community levels and recommendations, the GSUCC Covid Task Force has recommended that GSUCC move to a masking optional, not required, indoors policy. Our communion practice and outdoor fellowship will remain the same for now.
While we recognize there are still unvaccinated (especially children under 5) and immunocompromised folks in our community, our low transmission rate and high vaccination rate provide a significant layer of protection for everyone.
We encourage the continued use of masks for anyone for any reason they feel is appropriate for themselves and their situation. Not wearing a mask indoors may feel weird, may feel wonderful, may feel both! Or it may not feel like a safe decision for you right now and you’ll choose to continue masking. All of these responses are valid and will be respected at GSUCC.
We value your continued support of GSUCC ministry. The preferred method is to send checks or direct bill pay to Good Shepherd United Church of Christ,1050 NW Maynard Rd., Cary, NC 27513. You may also access on-line giving HERE.
Permission to stream the hymns in this service obtained from One License with license #A-715220.
