Thursday April 18 — 7:00pm — MAUNDY THURSDAY at Covenant Christian Church — We remember Jesus’ final evening with his disciples, in scripture, music and reflections.

EASTER SUNDAY April 21 — Participate in the events of your choice, or join us for a full morning of worship.

Early Easter Service — 7:30am — Our praise team ushers in Easter morning in worship, complete with communion. We invite you to bring flowers (but no lillies) to help us decorate our flowering cross.

Pancake Breakfast — 8:30am — World-famous pancakes, sausage, orange juice, coffee and fellowship. Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:30am.

Easter Egg Hunt — 9:30am — Young children and toddlers are encouraged to bring their Easter baskets and join in on all the fun, with eggs & goodies that have been hidden around the church property.

Easter Bonnet Parade & Contest — 10:00am — Select or create that headware that reflects your personality and compete for one of our highly coveted Easter bonnet prizes. Or join the audience for all the sights & sounds!

Easter Festival Service — 10:30am — Traditional hymns, resurrection stories, prayer and communion are all a part of our Easter commemoration of Christ’s resurrection and triumph over death. Please invite family, friends and neighbors to be a part of this meaningful worship service.

Our Faith

Good Shepherd UCC embraces the progressive tradition of the United Church of Christ, which traces it’s roots through the Pilgrims, the Afro-Christian Movement, and German immigrant churches.  UCC firsts include: ordination of a woman and an openly gay man, participation in civil disobedience, and support of marriage equality.

Our Family

"Walk with justice, walk with mercy and with God's humble care ..." We end by singing this every week and it is seen in our members' actions not just our words.
