Palm Sunday, Easter through Holy Humor Sunday 2018

Palm Sunday begins our Holy Week before Easter.  We gather outside on Palm Sunday morning and parade into the church in song, waving our palms high as we walk.

This year we will have Maundy Thursday dinners and conversations at various homes to fellowship and contemplate the last days of Christ.

An interactive time of prayer and reflection with the Stations of the Cross will be offered at Covenant Christian on Good Friday.

Easter morning, April 1,  is a full day of celebrating.  We begin with an early service at 7:30 AM, where we begin the flower decorating of our indoor cross.  A pancake breakfast is served at 8:30 AM as more people arrive.  At 9:30 AM, the children begin an Easter egg hunt of plastic eggs filled with candy that have been prepared an hidden around the church property by the Youth Group. After that, the judging of the assortment of creative Easter bonnets begins. It culminates with our 10:30 AM worship service where more flowers are added to our cross.

We end this month of April with Holy Humor Sunday and a 5th Sunday Potluck.
